ABOUT MS. ASHLEY
Welcome! I'm Ms. Ashley, owner and operator of More to Learn Home Child Care. I am licensed through the state of Texas and the city of Arlington to care for up to twelve children. I'm also certified in CPR, first aid, and have to complete over 30 hours of continuing education in child development each year. I am enrolled in college to pursue my Child Development/Early Childhood Education AAS and am expected to complete my degree in 2020.
I started More to Learn when I purchased my home in 2016. Before fulfilling my dream of opening my own daycare, I've worked in other licensed facilities since 2008. I knew this was the profession for me when taking care of children did not feel like a job, but instead like something I loved to do and as a bonus was receiving a paycheck for it.
I pride myself on being a trustworthy person in both my personal and professional life, so you can guarantee your child(ren) will be well taken care of and treated like part of my family.

ABOUT OUR CENTER
Here at More to Learn we offer a warm environment that feels like home. Our center features a large learning/play area for toddlers, a separate area for infants, and a spacious backyard for fun activities.
We have chosen the bible based curriculum Abeka to help structure your child's learning. Our lesson plans will include a monthly theme, letter, number, color, shape recognition, bible scriptures, plus so much more!
Each day we provide breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack which is included in the cost of your weekly tuition rate. We participate in the Food for Kids Program of Texas, which is a non-profit organization that ensures children receive USDA certified meals (ffktx.org).

To keep you up to date with your little one throughout the day, we use the mobile app Daily Connect. With this app you are able to view meals, nap times, pictures, diaper changes, ect...

We are licensed and regulated by the Texas Department of Family Services, which means we receive regular inspections to insure we are meeting safety requirements.

I finally have time to leave an honest review! It took a while because I would hate to leave a rushed review. Ashley, owner of More To Learn, was awesome to our three month old little one! I was so nervous about leaving me and husband’s son in the hands of someone I had never met before. It was extremely short notice for us to be alerted that we would need a daycare provider for about a week! My husband and I scrambled to find someone we felt we could trust. Ashley was so kind to care for our son at the last minute! Upon meeting her I instantly felt comfortable leaving our son with her. More To Learn is clean, inviting and the children she cares for appear to have fun and enjoy being at what appears to be a “home away from home.” Ashley is extremely attentive and thoughtful. I also love the photo updates she provides throughout the day of our little one. We definitely will not hesitate to give her a call again in the future.

I am so excited to even be writing this review because I feel absolutely BLESSED that God lead me to More To Learn Home Child Care!!!! I moved here from Houston 5 months ago not knowing a single soul out here or anybody to ask about childcare for my 1st child! I was a stay at home mom for 10 months and was extremely scared to put my son in a daycare! I worked in daycare for 1 year and half before which frightened me even more to see first hand some teachers just don't care or have any love & passion for children. I was searching daycares everyday just off lots of review and high stars yet when I came across More To Learn on Yelp that had no review It was nobody but God leading me to this daycare! When I checked out the site and saw her family photo, I just immediately felt comfort in my spirit! (Strange I know lol) I legit stop looking because I wanted to visit this daycare and confirm why I felt it was the ONE! I loved Ms Ashley immediately and had my mind made up! My husband is VERY picky and protective of our son so I knew when he said it's a YES it was our pick! I love this childcare and when I drop my son off and go to work, I don't feel any worries and that's a big deal!!!! Great family friendly environment! She has been an AMAZING & LOVING teacher to our son and shows care and concern for everything!!! Even the smallest things we may have not noticed. She reports everything and very informative with reminders! She has been very helpful and accommodating us since the beginning! We are extremely GRATEFUl for More To Learn!
